Who hath measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, and meted out heaven with the span, and comprehended the dust of the earth in a measure, and weighed the mountains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Isaiah 40:12
Hello World! Welcome to FearNoMan.Wordpress.Com! Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
My purpose here is to share what I know of the Holy Bible with whosoever will. All are welcomed to come and join the conversation. You are more than welcomed to add your ’2 cents’ by posting a comment. I only ask that we keep the conversation ‘G’ rated. I love debate and discussion, but I loathe symantical arguing, so I invite all of my readers to make your arguments stronger without the use of pejorative personal attacks against those who may have an opposing viewpoint. Always remember, “Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.” [Psalms 119:165]
All my post will be based on the Bible, however I will be employing the writings of various Protestant reformers who have delivered timely messages to God’s people through the ages. I will always document these post so that anyone can research my sources for themself.
I have called my blog ‘FearNoMan.Wordpress.com’ because as a Protestant Christian I am well aware that the light that the Christian church now has come at an awful price. For centuries many faithful martyrs were persecuted both during the the time of Imperial Rome and again during the time of Ecclesiatical Rome’s apex. Advancing truth has always faced Satanic opposition, yet these faithful souls “overcame him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.” [Revelation 12:11] Therefore we stand on the shoulders of giants and we can not ignore the pillars of our faith. Additionally, I am also mindful of the fact that God Himself has steadily unrolled the scroll (unlocked the meaning of His Word). So He calls us today to “…fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” [Matthew 10:28]
Finally, I fear no man because God Himself has declared a curse on all those who lean on the arm of flesh rather than the sure foundation – Holy Writ. ”Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.” [Jeremiah 17:5] I continue to protest because Martin Luther’s declaration that church doctrine ought to be based on Sola Scriptura is just as essential today for Christians as it has been in any age.
May God richly bless.
